The Best Day of our Stay, MUST DO THIS. If you are in Sorrento, I very strongly recommend that you take part. It was the best part of our 7 day trip there. My daughter and I were picked up from our hotel, there was another couple with us. This was a family-owned restaurant. Once we were there we were offered a coffee and spent a short time taking in the beautiful views. This was a working farm/restaurant. While we were in Sorrento the weather was baking but we spent the whole morning / early afternoon and we didn't feel the heat at all, there was a mountain breeze all day. which made it a perfect experience.
We had a tour of the farm, picked our courgette flowers, and herbs, and explored the area. We then started our day, the Chef was so good, he couldn't speak any English but we got everything he said. he made the whole experience seamless
We stuffed Courgettes with Goats cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan, we made Gnocchi, we made Eggplants filled with cheese and white sauce and we also made the famous Caprese Cake. Step-by-step instructions. We all got stuck in. We could take photos, and ask questions - one of the owners was there, translating.
After prepping all the food, we sat down and got through all the courses - the chefs cooked the dishes and we devoured them. We were offered wine and didn't feel rushed at all. We were there for 5 hours and it felt like an hour!! it went by far too quickly. 5 star, please don't even think twice about doing this. Thank you to everyone who made the day what it was.

Amazing Family-Run Cooking Experience! We loved our trip to Antico Casale Colli di San Pietro for a cooking class on a farm! The family has four sons and everyone works together to run the farm, the bed & breakfast, and the restaurant. We were fortunate to have a private cooking class with two chefs, where we made four courses together. We loved picking our own vegetables/herbs from the garden to use in the dishes.
We got to watch the family process fresh tomato sauce for the year ahead, have a bottle of wine with the meal made with grapes from their vineyard, try their homemade limoncello, and see the pigs/chickens/rabbits they will use in the year ahead. It is a completely self-sufficient farm and was a special experience unlike anything we've done before. If you visit Sorrento, highly recommend you make a trip out to their farm, Antico Casale Colli Di San Pietro!

Must try! This was an amazing experience that my wife and I would highly recommend. The family that runs the farm is so accommodating and welcoming. Picking your own food and being taught authentic Italian cooking is a day we will never forget. The chef that cooks with you is fun and makes the prepping and cooking process enjoyable. The food is delicious and the wine they make is also delicious. The brothers also went out of their way to make sure we had transportation back to our hotel in Positano after we had some confusion on our end and we didn’t have a ride back. They made calls for us to local car services and ensured we had safe transportation. This is an experience we will never forget and a must try. You will really be immersed in the Italian farm life and enjoy some delicious Italian food from the fruits of your own labor!

Best day of our vacation We visited five cities and two different countries and did A LOt of activities. By far, this was far and away the absolute best day of vacation. Our driver picked us up at the hotel and drove us up the winding hills of Sorrento to the countryside where we were met by our host, Giuseppe. From there, we were given a tour of the beautiful grounds and garden and had the opportunity to meet the family and staff that ran the kitchen. Okay gathered some items from the garden and made our way to the kitchen to meet chef. We made four courses, spent time in the kitchen and with the family and enjoyed the grounds while our meal baked in the oven. Once it was ready we got to sit on the beautiful patio that had a view of Sorrento and the ocean. We sat and dined and the family gifted us with a bottle of their homemade wine. It was delicious. Best day ever. I highly recommend you go, enjoy and learn more about preparing an authentic italian meal.

Fantastic must experience It’s hard to say how much we enjoyed this experience, this hotel/working farm is family owned and run and are just beautiful gracious warm people. The setting was beautiful, the chef while he didn’t speak English was engaging and fun. I can’t speak more highly of this experience this is an A++!!!!!

Spectacular time What an amazing time. We were transported to the farmhouse with another couple. The customer service and communication was top notch. The farmhouse was beautiful. We had a light lunch and began picking our vegetables. Even though the chef spoke only Italian, they were able to translate what he said in English for us so we could follow the directions. The food turned out amazing and we were so full! This experience was 10/10 and would highly recommend it.

Amazing Half Day Cooking Class! The half day cooking class was everything we could have hoped for and more! The location was stunning and the class was very interactive and inviting. We couldn’t recommend this excursion enough and hope to come back someday!

Sorrento I came to Sorrento with three of my friends. We booked the Half Day Amalfi Coast cooking class. It was amazing. The villa was beautiful, the family was very welcoming and the chef was amazing!! I would definitely do it again on my next visit!! Loved the food, the garden and the people!!

A wonderful experience! My husband and I took this class on our honeymoon and we loved every minute of the experience. We were given a tour of the farm at Agriturismo Antico Casale and we then got great, personal attention while making gnocchi, a citrus salad, a dessert, and the best pork dish that I have ever eaten!
The reason for the 4-star rating has more to do with Trip Advisor's misleading directions under "What to Expect". All of the information made it seem like we would be driven to the center square of Sorrento, so we were expecting a 10 minute car ride. Instead, the drive was about 25 minutes, into the mountains of Sorrento. The ride was great, but the mystery of where we were going was a bit unsettling. We also did not know, based off our booking confirmation, where the restaurant was (it was different from what the Trip Advisor site offered). So we were worried that we were in the wrong cab/being taken somewhere shady. It all turned out wonderfully and I loved the experience, but the driving information is definitely misleading.
